This coming-of-age story is about four boys in the 1950's who go looking for a corpse.

Along the way, they laugh, cry and get into some trouble.

One of a group of friends hears a story about the dead body of a boy hit by a train quite a ways away.

The friends decide to take a trip to find the body.

Although it is sometimes treated as a roundup of all of the bits that didn’t fit into the paper earlier, it deserves better treatment than that!

It's the last thing the reader will see, so it tends to stick in the reader's memory.

The aspiring writer of the group, Gordie, tells stories.

After a couple days, the boys finally find the body.

From dealing with the loss of a sibling, to unfair treatment, this group of friends stick together.

The conclusion is a very important part of your essay.
