Joining a growing number of institutions that have made these standardized tests optional as part of the application process, Salem State will now notify prospective students that the fulfillment of academic admissions requirements will be based on their high school course selection and grade point average (GPA)."By eliminating test score requirements and focusing our admission decisions on a student's academic work and grade point average, we believe an increased number of qualified students will look at Salem State," said Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Life Scott James.
