Child neglect is situation that child’s primary needs were lacked from adults, especially parents or caregivers of the child.
(Rynders) Failure to provide a child with basic necessary needs is known as neglect. With the chronic issue of child abuse still affecting children’s education today.
Neglect has become the most common form of child abuse, and its effects have been recognized as the most detrimental to a child’s development. It is a key importance that people must not give up on children who are victims of child abuse, but make it their personal goal to help them prosper.
Based on the report from the Department of Health and Human Services, in 2006, approximately 82.4% abused child cases were made by at least one of the child’s parents (Childhelp 2006).
